Each Emirate of the UAE has its own distinctive features, which attract tourists from all over the world. The Emirate of Fujairah deserves the special attention among them. Unlike the other Emirates, the skyscrapers have not managed yet to outshine the picturesque Arabic culture here. Therefore, one can still explore the rich history of the United Arab Emirates over the architecture of Fujairah.
The absence of the massive number of new buildings had reflected the rhythm of life in the Emirate. Instead of the typical hustle and bustle of the city, there is the atmosphere of calmness and deliberation in Fujairah. That is why this Emirate is the favorite destination for tourists who prefer a secluded holiday to shopping and noisy events.
Fujairah is only the Emirate which is located not on the Persian Gulf coast, but which is washed by the waters of the Indian ocean. The highlight of this Emirate is the amazing natural landscapes. Instead of the sandy deserts and artificial vegetation you will find here the magnificent mountain peaks, deep gorges, picturesque valleys and waterfalls. Hot springs, the water of which helps for treating the diseases of the joints and skin, attract a number of tourists to the Fujairah.

Fujairah is the great place for those who want to learn more about the history of the UAE. The most ancient mosque Al Badiyah, built in 1446, has been preserved on the territory of this Emirate. It has an unusual architecture – 4 domes and no minaret. Among the architectural attractions it is also worth to note the Fort of Fujairah (the former defensive center) and the thematic village which is located nearby.
Hikers will enjoy the Ain Al Madhab Gardens with their beautiful greenery and warm springs.
There is no large entertainment program in Fujairah, as it is just a small province. But if you still want some bright impressions, you can visit the bullfight. It is a very interesting event, but it is held only in certain months (November-December).
