The Dubai Airshow is the major and the most well-known air show in the world. During the show one can see the most advanced advances in the aerospace business, admire the aerobatics performed by the most skilled pilots, and, of course, establish useful business networks.
The first UAE’s Airshow was organised in 1989, and now it is held in Dubai every two years, drawing the attention of the whole world. The exhibition-show is organized by the company Fairs and Exhibitions. Besides, the Dubai Airshow is supported by the International Airport, the government of Dubai, the Department of Civil Aviation of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed.
First of all, the Dubai Airshow is the largest exhibition of the aerospace industry. All the advanced aircraft and space innovations are on display on the vast territory: civilian airliners, military aircrafts, drones, helicopters, missile launchers, navigation and other electronic systems, equipment for airports. Special exposition pavilions display various exhibits from diverse countries.
For example, in 2015 the national company Etihad Airways astonished everyone with the most deluxe passenger airliners, which combine high functionality with supreme comfort and safety.
More than thousand representatives of the aerospace industry take part in the Dubai Airshow, and the number of visitors reaches a few tens of thousands of people (given the fact that the event is open only to professionals in the aircraft branch, official representatives of the companies, and the mass media).
The main mission of the exhibition is not only to demonstrate advanced aerospace technology, but also expand its market. The volume of deals made during the air show reaches more than 100 billion dollars.
In addition to the exhibition of the latest aerospace technologies at the Dubai Airshow, a variety of business and information events are held: forums, seminars, round tables, conferences. They help the participants to establish business contacts, exchange their experience and discuss existing issues.
Breath-taking demonstration flights are certainly of particular attention to visitors. Aerobatics are performed by the pilots of international class, so the spectators are assured to experience remarkable emotions.
